Many of our science classes were treated to a special opportunity to learn about energy and the technologies and sciences involved with the oil and gas industry.
The Mobile Oilfield Learning Unit (MOLU) setup its exhibit in the student cafeteria, which contained 6 learning stations with curriculum based activities.
MOLU is a $1.2 million traveling display that helps young people understand how the petroleum and energy industries work. It was put into service in 2008 by the Offshore Energy Center, a Texas-based industry group.
