Summer Learning at Audubon MS begins Monday, June 16, 2014! 19 Days of Learning!
Classes will be held in English and Math. All Audubon Students ONLY! We are happy to announce that the summer learning opportunities at Audubon will support our Audubon Eagles in gaining needed skills in English and Math. Students will experience a new project based learning curriculum and have opportunity to complete a rigorous project learning opportunity.
Attire: Free Dress! Appropriate Attire only - No Tank Tops, No Flip Flops, No Inappropriate Clothing.
Experience small classes of 20 students only! Each class will also have a district funded Field Trip to an exciting site, the hottest summer destinations in Los Angeles! Our Eagles will visit the Griffith Science Observatory and the J. Getty Center.
Students will also receive a nutritious Lunch meal and Afternoon snack. All students in the Summer Learning program are able to enroll in the Beyond the Bell Activities. This year the Beyond the Bell program will focus on the Los Angeles Summer Learning Program sponsored by LAUSD and the Mayor's office. Programs include the NASA Space Program, Arts, Music, and Sports Team.
The Summer Schedule:
Class begins at 8:30am - Session 1 - English or Math
10:20 Break,
10:30am - Session 2 - Project Based Learning
11:45am - 12:15 pm Summer Meal
12:30pm - 5:50pm Beyond the Bell Program (All Students MUST be picked up by 6pm!)
