Thank you Ms. Rosby, 8th grade leadership, and all Audubon family!! Joanna Fuller traveled to El Salvador to deliver socks and gift to the children of Shalom orphanage. The 8th Grade leadership class creatively raised money and collected socks to meet the need of children.
The 8th grade leadership raised 70 pairs of socks and $250 through their Sock Hop event and they chose to donate it to the Shalom Children's Home, an orphanage in El Salvador! Take a look at these pictures of the children (ages 0 - 21) opening up individually wrapped Christmas gifts!

Each gift had socks, a shirt, a game, two notebooks, school supplies, a bowl (they have to bring their own dishes to the comedor), and for the older kids, a USB flash drive. It was a true #PayItForward moment.... Audubon students making a global impact! And the children of Shalom told me to tell you all MUCHISIMAS GRACIAS!
