James Harden, #13 for the Houston Rockets and former Audubon student returned to Audubon on February 28, 2018 and treated the students and teachers to a special day.

Leadership students treated teachers and staff to a mid day treat on Random Act of Kindness Day! Thank you teachers and staff for your hard work and dedication!

On Thursday, January 18, 2018 former Dodger Matt Luke visited several classes and spoke to students about the importance of staying in school and following your dreams as well as the opportunities that playing baseball gave him such as travelling and learning about other cultures.

On, Monday January 15, 2018 about 40 students accompanied by teachers, staff and Mr. Boger represented Audubon at the annual Kingdom Day Parade.

100 Top Scholars attended the Los Angeles Public Library Central Branch Smart Sessions Spring Seminar where students heard from a panel of professionals who overcame adversity and moved on to receive college degrees. The students then toured the library and enjoyed lunch in DTLA. #collegebound #eachoneteachone

You are invited to Audubon's 2017 Parent Workshops: Educamp on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 9:00-1:00 pm. You can attend a series of workshops that will be beneficial over the summer.

On Friday May 5, 2017 at 8:00 am in the school library, we are honored that Dr. McKenna is taking time to share words of wisdom with our fathers, father figures, older brothers, uncles, neighbors, and friends about the importance of male figures in our learning community! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, collaborate, and build a stronger school community at Audubon and the surrounding area that supports every student. Join us for Donuts with Dads!

Students will be allowed to wear green shirts with jeans on Friday, March 21, 201, to celebrate Earth Day. They may wear jeans and shoes that are appropriate for school. All students that are not in compliance of the expectations will be asked to call home.

Thousands of schools across California, are participating in the assessment system designed to help shape teaching and learning in the classroom known as the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress or -CAASPP- these computer-based tests have replaced the paper pencil state tests.

Audubon Middle School Parents - Local District West is spearheading an amazing opportunity for parents to participate in a study group with the renowned UCLA Professor Dr. Tyrone Howard! Dr. Howard has been working with our teachers in understanding the Impact of Race and Culture in the classroom.
